Suspension help...
I have a 1966 c10 lwb While I was trying to rebuild the lower control arms I noticed that the bushing hole was stripped on the control arm, so it cant properly tighten them. I have been looking online for some new control arms for my truck but the price and lead time for shipping is to much/long..... I was wondering if I can use the 73-87 upper and lower control arms with my 66 ball joints and steering linkage, I'd like to add that i have part # swbk-6d6370 the disk break conversion kit with the 2.5 drop spindles from performance online if that helps or makes a diffrence.

Re: Suspension help...
Yes you can use the '73-'87 upper and lower control arms with your original replacement ball joints. Have you looked in the '60-'66 classifieds here on the forum to see if anyone is parting out a '63-'66 C10? You can also use the '67-'70 control arms if you want.

Re: Suspension help...
No I have not looked in the classifieds I will take a look and see if I can find anything. thanks for your input.... I have another question about the hydroboost system....I believe I got a HB from a newer Astro because of the extreme angle it has (was in a hurry and never looked at the year of the van...duh)... my question is can i still use that HB using a flat bracket like the one you make even with the angles it has? also switching to a different reservoir one that does not have such an extreme angle? I will go take some pics and post them. What would be the possibility of using the 75 c20 LCA ( https://www.walmart.com/ip/Dorman-52...l-Arm/42918045 ) with the mentioned above spindle from performance online? can I get away with using the 66 ball joints or do I need to get c20 ball joints and spindle
