Ash tray stolen
I left my passenger door unlocked and was burglarized. The ash tray was mostly full of miscellaneous fasteners and a small amount of change. They also went through the glove box and found a pill container full of push nuts and spilled it. I walked down the block to see if they tossed it. Now to find a medium olive ashtray

Re: Ash tray stolen
It has happens to me three times in 20 years.
Typically looking for change, but they take the ashtray. I quit putting anything in there. Last time, I was hit, I locked my truck but left the passenger window down enough they were able to get the door unlocked. I always lock my door. Just forgot about the window. When I was young I never even carried a house key because it was never locked. It's madding as heck and replacing the ash tray costs more than the change they get. A**Ho**s. Rick |

Re: Ash tray stolen
Sorry to hear this happened ! I dont have those problems by me. Crime is out of control because of no fear of reprisals. I remember being in fear of the law, today the criminals fear nothing.

Here it seems to be a combination of laws and judges that keep letting people go. They're arrested, given a court date, released, fail to appear, are rearrested, released, given a new court date, fail to appear, then when they eventually do appear in court they're again released. Richard |

Re: Ash tray stolen
My S10 Blazer was broken into years ago and they stole the stereo without the face plate and the ashtray too! Beyond my comprehension.

I'm sure I have an ash tray in any year if this doesn't work out. I may even have a Medium Olive one

Re: Ash tray stolen
You should be thankful to still have your truck. Mine disappeared from my driveway two days before christmas in 16. Pete had the right idea.

Re: Ash tray stolen
Bummer it happened. I've had my car similarly victimized and know many others so affected and those who had their cars, mail, etc. stolen. We left Albuquerque three years ago last week - zero regrets.
