I put these on mine. It raised the truck back up about 3/4" and stopped the rubbing.

Re: Best 4/6 drop ride quality

MCGaughys has a 4.5/6 kit for the 67-72 that looks really good. I use it quite a bit. I've used Belltech too but it's a 4/6. That extra half inch helps a lot.

I can help with wheel / tire backspace too if needed.

Agree 100%. It's roughly a 4/6 drop and drives like a dream.

I'm looking for a 4/6 package that will also convert me to five lug and discs. Decisions, decisions.

Thank you. They are 18x9 with 265/50/18 all around. Nitto doesn't make this size anymore, so I will have to go with a 275/45/18 next time around.

That is a great looking step! Color, stance, tire sizes…all right on the mark!

If you want a “New Truck” ride with adjustability go with Coil Overs Yes there pricey but We’ll worth it. I have QA1 on my truck along with there sway bars front and rear. I’m into it ~ $3000 , worth every penny

We’re you able to get that thing lined up? Your ball joints have one heck of an angle to them. They won’t last long like that.

Yes all lined up. That pic was with no shims or anything. Yes it took a lot of shims but all is good. My alignment guy loved it

Re: Best 4/6 drop ride quality

I've had the old ECE 4.5/6 stuff on my truck now since about 2008. I've put roughly 50k miles or so on it with that setup. Ive never been really thrilled with the ride quality. I put some ride tech shocks on it a few yrs ago, and that helped a little. But I'm kicking around the idea of going a different direction suspension wise. I would like to ride in a truck with one of the coil over kits, or even the Ridetech street grip kit. I have Ridetechs full coil over setup on my Chevelle and it rides SO much better than my truck. But I don't know if that's just because it's a car, and they inherently ride better.

I can almost Guarantee with the coil overs your Truck will ride like your Chevelle
My truck rides better than my wife’s 2018 Traverse

Re: Best 4/6 drop ride quality

I had a 2"/4" ECE drop on mine since 1997 with front and rear sway bars. Replaced the shocks once.

Played with bags, could not stand it.

Now on coil overs all around.......perfect.

Perfect stance, perfect ride.

Whether you go QA1, Ridetech, CPP, Aldan, or whatever.

If you have dual adjustable coil overs you can dial in your desired height, then adjust to your desired compression and rebound on the shocks.

Plus, if you want to try a little autocross all you have to do is dial up the shocks.

It's heaven.
