Turning hatch handle, but latches don't move
As per title I can turn the handle on the hatch about 70 degrees but am getting no movement of the latches on either side.
Ideas on where to start looking? |

Re: Turning hatch handle, but latches don't move
Remove the hatch cover under the handle and inspect the mechanism while rotating the handle. Perhaps the rods spanning the handle to the latches are disconnected at the handle. Unbolting and inspecting the latches would be my next step if the handle mechanism checks out but you’ll first need to disconnect the connecting rods at the handle.
