White letter outlined or blackwall tires
Have some Bridgestone A/T tires on order, trying to decide which way to install, white lettering out or inside.
This is my truck now. to be blue with white cab roof

Re: White letter outlined or blackwall tires
I like em both ways. Thanks to Chevyland for the photos provided.
I would say white lettered out-side would look great on your truck. |

Re: White letter outlined or blackwall tires
I'm really bias towards the white-letters, but I draw the line when it comes to how often I clean the vehicle (or tires). If it's a once a summer washdown, the dirty white-letters belong on the inside.
When it comes to our trucks...they can go either way and look real good. IMO, white-letters say "sport" or "Muscle", so if the truck is going to have a utility look then the black-walls should be out. But, the way your truck looks, it could go either way and be great.

Re: White letter outlined or blackwall tires
If the tires are nicer than the rest of the truck, go with white letters.
I'm only half-joking, I really like a beat up truck with expensive tires, it confuses people.

Re: White letter outlined or blackwall tires
Always turn them in on my vehicles. They're not paying me to advertise for them

Re: White letter outlined or blackwall tires
When I was a bit younger I rather liked raised white letters on my '69 Nova.
Now that I'm 135 and own a truck, I prefer the white letters inside. (the exception being BF Goodrich Radial TA's) I even went to the trouble of painting the letters flat black because at night it's easy to see them with your headlights when someone is making a left turn in front of you through an intersection...tacky. |

Re: White letter outlined or blackwall tires
Since I've always been a believer in having good tires irregardless of what they are going on, this makes sense to me.

Re: White letter outlined or blackwall tires
Factory wheels/Hub caps? Black walls
Factory Rally’s? Can go either way, but White Outline looks good After market? Raised White Letter I run BF Goodrich RWL on American Racing Outlaw II’s, but have been think about going to steelies and hubcaps, just to change things up a bit. |

Re: White letter outlined or blackwall tires
I am changing out sets right now. I had the store turn them letters out. The guy asked and I just told him 'Let's go old school, letters out'. I am taking blackwalls off because they have been on the truck for far too long. Probably a blow out hazard waiting.
