Parking Brake Cables

I'm having a hard time finding park brake cables for a 1962 K20. Does anybody have any info about the possibility that I might be able to use some cables from a later model truck? I've got a long cable running from the handle to a crossmember behind the cab with a fulcrum/lever set-up, then a shorter cable to each wheel.

Thanks, Brad

Re: Parking Brake Cables

Are your cables missing? Or do you just need new ones to replace the old ones?

The long one from the handle in the cab is available new. The two from the wheels can be made by a number of companies if you send in the old ones to be used as patterns. This is what I had to do for my K20. The company I used was Control Cables Inc.

Re: Parking Brake Cables

Check out Inline tube. They make them in steel and in stainless steel. I used them on my 62 K20.
