Modifying inner fenders or Slosh Tubz or other?
What's the most common way guys are making more room in the front? I follow a guy on Youtube that started an experiment modifying the stock ones but I don't know if he ever got it done. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnRIM3pQDNA I thought the idea seemed good but I'm not sure if it's reasonable on these trucks. I see either way I'll need to cut out some of the inside edge of the outer fender too.

I basically did the same thing to keep the stock inner wells. Raised stock mounting locations up around 3" w/ lap joints. 17"x9" & 20"x8.5" rims both clear with no issues aired out and raised up.

Cool. So you just modified the outer fender to make the mounting locations higher? Didn't need to stretch the inner fenders?

Yes, outer fender mounting points get raised higher. Don't have to stretch inner fender width wise. You do have to modify the rear section of the inner fender due to them hitting the firewall. Drivers side is not too crazy, but have to get creative on passenger side with the fan box.
