Here is something I did today out of total disappointment that there was some wind noise left. A while back I ordered some new door window channels and door edge pieces, the wing window rubber looked good that day so I didnt order it. Got it apart one door at a time changed the 4 items per door, it came out great! Go down the road for a test and lots of wind noise from passenger wing, rubber still looks good, but wing lever is a little sloppy. I am not into matchbooks stuffed in to tighten up the slop (I think my dad used to do that), so I brainstorm for all of two minutes, drive the roll pin out and put a little bend in it (a door hinge trick) and that tightens up some slop in handle but it still doesnt fit against divider bar tight, so I take handle off, drill very small hole in flat contact surface in handle and fit in a small panhead screw, put handle back on, file flat a little at a time to fit, Bingo. It doesnt show when shut from outside, cant see it from inside, when I go to town next will pick up a brass screw so it can self lubricate (if thats possible). Now after reading this I know some of you are wondering , but the answer is NO, I dont have any bailing wire on my truck! Let me know what you guys think, Jerry Rig

I just helped my brother out with this same problem. The only thing is it was on his van with the push button lock to open and shut. There was so much sloop. These thing's were held together with a screw that tightened into the peice on the outside. He had no rubber left on the outside so we trimed a water hose washer to fit. Then tightened the screw back and it was as good as new. Did both sides since the driver side worked so well.

yeah I though of replacing the rubber but mine was fine, hose washer is great idea, glad it worked for you

I don't know if it would work on these models though.

No wind noise at all on passenger wing, as far as I can tell while driving, a little from driver side (wing fits tight), but less noise than a hardtop car, I can live with it. Overall window felts all around made a huge wind noise difference also glass doesnt rattle, very tight and quiet.

time for a windshield now leaks like crazy and is chipped up anyway, just started driving this truck daily, but on my other trucks go through one every year or two, you gotta love chip sealing!

It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
