What wheel and tire size fits an Explorer rearend in a 47-55
I have an Explorer 8.8" rearend for my 51 Chevy pickup. I would prefer to run 17" or 18" wheels. I will run 1" bolt pattern adapters and I'd like to know what wheel width and offset works well. Also what's the largest tire that will fit with adequate clearance.
Thanks! |

I don't have an answer, But I do have an Idea.
Could you or know someone that could, Make you a fixture like in the pictures below. The Jig you can buy is Expensive (To me anyway) Hope this helps.
