GM Spotlight Replacement Bulbs - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

What are you guys using for replacement spotlight bulbs? I have a unity style spotlight with a GM logo on it, supposedly was installed by a dealer in a 72 c10 back in the day. I have looked on ebay but there is a wide variety of sizes and I want to make sure I get the correct one.

Also have done some reading up on the halogen v. original style bulbs. I would prefer halogen if possible.

Unity is still in business and I believe they sell replacements

They are but they offer about 20 different bulbs. Same selection can be found on ebay

There are two sizes for the spotlight. I think you want the par36 but I cannot tell exactly from your pic. Can you measure the glass from the bulb then I can answer better.

I have one of these spotlights as well. Ive seen several of them but I noticed yours and the others come through the pillar. Mine comes through the cowl with a trim piece that looks specific to our trucks.
