85 C10 steering column swap from a 91 Blazer?

Looking desperately for a tilt column now that I am road worthy. I tried looking at the column swap thread but the link for my year says the info is unavailable. Also tried searching in this forum but no such luck.

Waiting to hear back from the seller to find out if it's a column or floor shift as well.

Re: 85 C10 steering column swap from a 91 Blazer?

99% of late tilt columns are going to be column shift. Since it was top shelf option, and most top shelf trucks had a auto.

I just swapped my 91 Suburban column put for a 73 column, and there are a couple slight differences.

The C mount is metric instead of standard, and the column base is a 1" double D I think vs earlier spline shaft. So verify which one you have before you go all in. Like I did, and then have to wait for parts. Again.

Forgot to mention I just knock the pin out for the column shift, and remove the handle. That way I can have the look.with out the price tag.
