Re: 66 C20 Parting Out

I got a PM asking about the condition of the fenders and hood. The body has very little to offer.

Re: 66 C20 Parting Out

And if nobody speaks up for the cab by next weekend, I can start cutting it up for patch panels ones may need. My wife says I can't get a boat until this truck is gone.

That would be sad for that to happen. If it comes to this, our project could use some things. I will be in contact to see if we can work something out.

Re: 66 C20 Parting Out

Cab is now up on my trailer. Spring cleaning. If someone doesn't speak up for it by president's day weekend, I'm going to take the sawzall to it. Speak up for what you want off the cab, because it's going to the scrap yard president's day weekend.
If someone on the east side of the Willamette River wants the cab with the doors, you can have it for $100 delivered as long as you are within 30 minutes from Mulino Oregon.

No, that's one for a 73-87 C20.
I need to take that off.

Re: 66 C20 Parting Out

I have a forum member coming by tomorrow who might be taking cuts out of the cab.
Speak up if someone wants it. Otherwise, the sawzall may start tomorrow.
Monday, what's ever left is going to scrap.

It was good meeting you also.
I'm glad you were able to get some cuts from the cab before it goes to scrap.

Re: 66 C20 Parting Out

I did take the wiper arms off. But I don't remember if they were in good condition. I'll double check and take some pics.
.
I do have an extra set of trailing arms off of a 65. But I'm not sure if they are the same as the 60-62's.

Re: 66 C20 Parting Out

Yeah, I'll get you some pics.
The trailing arms are already off and ready to go.
We can search these forums to see what a fair price would be.
You can have the wiper linkage from the 66. Oh, wait... The wiper arms from the 66 may not be stock. I'll get some pictures of those too.

Sorry, I had some health issues and got totally sidetracked.
I still have a set of trailing arms. They are from a 65.

I believe the trailing arms are the same, just spaced out differently

Doors are gone.
No, they did not have the metal around the glass. And I know what you are talking about, I saw one once with the metal around the glass.

Re: 66 C20 Parting Out

Long shot but I don't suppose you have the a 'pig tail' that holds the Emergancy brake cable to the frame and also the U shaped piece that holds the cable to the rod on the passenger side?

I know I have mine somewhere but I just cant find them!

Thanks,

P.
