Automatic Trans for 98 S10 2WD 4.3L
If I swap the trans in a 98 S10 will I need to program it to the ECU or is it plug-n-go?
Min is slipping and I'm on the hunt for a replacement. Thanks

No you don't have to program it.

Great. Do you know if all or what year 4L60E's will bolt up direct with an S10 2WD, 4.3 V6?

I just put a rebuilt 4l60e trans in this 99 s10. The rebuilder told me 98-2004 all the same. Just plug and play ready to go.

Pretty sure the ones in the Astro vans are the same. Probably full size trucks with 4.3l.
