Where have you guys ordered wheels from?
We have finally got all the suspension and brake parts ordered. Now we are looking to order some wheels. I have ordered a lot of things online, but never wheels. Ive always felt that it was better/easier/safer to get them local.. But Im sure many people get them off the internet with no problems. We are looking at the US Mags brand. There are 3 or 4 styles we like.. Might be open to others but just havent had much luck finding anything thru the typical ebay searches.. So where have you guys had success ordering wheels? Looking for 20x8.5 and 20x9's, 5 lug if that helps.

Re: Where have you guys ordered wheels from?
I just bought my new Indy slots from Jegs. I was leaning towards Summit but the when I went to order them I noticed the price went up $17 each. Jegs still had the old price.
The way things are today I recommend purchasing them ASAP.

Re: Where have you guys ordered wheels from?
I just ordered my tires and US mags from "best wheels online". I googled them and the name came up. They had the best price shipped and no tax charged to me. I had them in about 3 days

Looks a lot like the Billet Specialties Rail 6.

Re: Where have you guys ordered wheels from?
Yeah I can't read or see a logo on the center cap but this is the wheel it looks like to me. Maybe a less expensive copy of the Rail 6 but I'm not sure by who.

I can't see it being too inexpensive considering the truck is listed on eBay for 60 grand lol.. Or at least it shouldn't be a cheap knockoff for that kinda coin! |

Anyway, I found the truck on ebay and could definitely see the US Mags logo on the center cap. Found the wheel. It appears to be the Milner - U214, the five lug version is the Milner - US361. 6-lug - https://www.perfectionwheels.net/whe...4/?finishID=10 5-lug - https://us-mags.com/milner-us361-w-10660.htm |

See, I thought it looked like the Milner.. But there was only 5 spokes instead of 6.. Looking at the wheel on the truck now I notice its a 6 lug wheel... So the design is 1 spoke less with 5 lugs... Thanks for figuring that out for me. |

Re: Where have you guys ordered wheels from?
I got mine thru ebay (was summit's advert) and a couple other sites (for Nissan Armada wheels). I have done it couple times and no issues at all. My UPS and FEDEX guys are pretty good so I rarely have issues with mangled packaging and when its big like that, they will wheel it to the back under my carport so they don't get wet.

Re: Where have you guys ordered wheels from?
I used wheelsforless.com for my US Mag ramblers...bought the wheels with tires (nitto G2s) mounted and balanced for a couple hundred dollars less then I could have bought them separately anywhere else (then another $100+ and my time for mounting and balancing locally). I was shocked at the price difference but it all worked out great and they look great.

Re: Where have you guys ordered wheels from?
I used Discount Tire Direct.
Service was excellent and the shipping was fast. On line seems to be the way to go anymore. No local guys can afford to carry the verity of wheel and offsets available today. If I purchase local they order them in anyway. Had to pay $100 for mounting and balancing, so add that to the cost. Note: I purchased the tires from a different company so shipping mounted wasn't an option. |

Re: Where have you guys ordered wheels from?
I have ordered 2 sets from Summit Racing in the past year. Had to wait a month or two for them but dealing with Summit never a worry. I had a tiny chip in one of the TT2's I bought and they paid shipping back to them , and I'm in Canada, and free shipping on the replacement.

Re: Where have you guys ordered wheels from?
I bought mine from jegs. Free returns are great when trying out new wheels. I bought a few different wheels to test. When I found the right one I bought the other three for the set and returned the ones I didn't want (in an ethical way - perfect condition and ready to resell).
I was amazed how difficult it was to buy wheels locally. Everyone wanted me to pay for the privilege at almost twice the price and a 15% return fee if they didn't fit. |
