Unhappy 79 NON tilt steering column shifter housing (auto trans)

I'm sick about this...was rebuilding my non tilt column. It fell off the table and busted the auto shifter housing. All I can find is the dang tilt one. Who sells the non tilt shifter housing?? Really wanna finish this job without so much hassle! Thanks!

Cannibalize a used Saginaw column from a less popular GM car or Van... B Body, E Body, G Body, P, G, M, ...

JB Weld it back together. When I had my Caprice Wagon and changed it to floor shift, I ground off the nub for the column shifter and JB Welded a piece of metal in. Ground is smooth and painted. No one knew the better.

I hear you, but some of that epoxy is crazy strong. The kind of thing where if it was ever to break again it would break somewhere other than where you epoxied it together. But, like I said, I understand your hesitancy.
