Line burst
The 3 inch rubber submersible line connecting the EP381 pump to the sending unit supply tube ruptured twice. 2015 5.3, 1987 fuel tank and sending unit, corvette filter/regulator. New 5/16 return line, new braided stainless 6 AN supply line. All lines are secure, unobstructed and connected to correct location on sending unit. New fuel pump, new ‘87 tank, filter regulator replaced about 5 months and 500 miles ago. The truck runs fine for a few days and blows this line for some reason. This is a friends ‘85 squarebody. Any thoughts? Bad filter/regulator?

Re: Line burst
Well, I'm no help on the other items you are asking about. However, I still honestly suspect that the piece of fuel line might be the issue. Napa, if there is one close by, sells fuel injection rated, submersible fuel line. I would try with a section of that. https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NBHH213

Re: Line burst
I've used the rubber type hose like you have on LS swaps but on my last couple of LS swaps I used Tank's Inc tanks and they supply fuel line that is more like a hard plastic. You might check with Tanks to see if they will sell you the hard plastic hose.

Re: Line burst
Over on LS1tech they always say use a C5 FFR from AC Delco or Wix from NAPA. The down side is both are getting to be expensive. They used to be $50-$60. Now close to $100.
