bondo on wet truck
my truck got snowed on and I was wondering that if i dry it off with a towel and wait for it to warm up in the shop if it will be okay to apply filler on it. How long should i wait after applying and sanding the filler to primer it and if i put etch primer and then regular primer on it will it be sealed enough to keep water from soaking into it?

I always wash the area that i'm going to fill, and then wipe it down with paint thinner. This is just a little peace of mind for me .

No amount of primer will not let water seep in eventually. Primer is very porous, that allows the paint to stick to it. It will be ok for a little while, but not for ever. I wouldn't let it go outside til it was at least 24 hrs old. That will let the primer set up really well.

what should i do to seal it because i'm not planning to paint it until summer.

Spray over the primer with Krylon.Coat it well enough to keep it sealed.You will probably be doing some finish sanding before paint anyway right?
