Takeoff Chevy Tailgates
I have a couple of tailgates that were taken off of fleet vehicles 50 years ago & stored in a barn. I got three of them. I am keeping one.
One is excellent - one has a couple small dents at bottom WIW ? |

Re: Takeoff Chevy Tailgates
The tailgate in the pic maybe a 67/68 gate. Harder to find. I have no value on the tailgate. Thanks

Re: Takeoff Chevy Tailgates
I shared this with my dad yesterday, and his initial thought about why the tailgates were removed was to install a liftgate on the trucks. Do you know what the trucks were used for back in the day? Would be cool if some old pictures of the trucks in action existed
