Fuel line coordination with HEI
I’m replacing the my points distributor with an HEI. I’ve got a ‘71 L6 250. Assuming there’s not a pre-bent line that works with the larger footprint of the HEI, what suggestions are there? I saw one picture of a rubber line that was routed from the pump up and over the valve cover. I’d rather go around the valve cover in a clean manner.

Re: Fuel line coordination with HEI
I don't know for sure, but can't you use a fuel line for a '75 that would have had an HEI? I think the integrated heads started about then so maybe the carb is moved a bit from a non-integrated head? Honestly I would just go buy a stick of fuel line and a HF hand bender and just make my own line.

Re: Fuel line coordination with HEI
I ordered every L6 250 fuel line I could trying to accomplish what you are aiming for. I ended up having to bend my own.
