Upper Radiator support bracket
Hi:
I am replacing my radiator as part of my LS swap project. My stock GMC radiator has side mount fill versus this new one (I assume is for Chevy) is top mount fill. So, Not only I have bring the radiator down for upper bracket to clear the radiator cap, but it seems I have to cut the bracket to be able to open and remove the radiator cap in the future. I was wondering if the Chevys' upper radiator bracket is different, since to my understanding is that GMC radiators are the only ones with side fill. Pictures would be great. Thanks

We have to see good photos of this and Brand and part number of the radiator won't hurt as it will help one of us figure it out.

Okay, this may make it a little complicated!
I am moving the radiator outside (toward the front) of the rad support to have more clearance for Ford Taurus fan and other accessories. That is what you see in the picture but regardless, the upper support would hit the top fill cap. I just want to know if there is an easy way of just buying a chevy upper support or if I should just go and make my own. I know that I have to trim the corners as well. The Chevy radiator (it appears to be rather than having a GMC filler neck on it) was never going to work right on the GMC anyhow.
The cure is to leave that cap on or a low profile cap and run an inline filler neck in the upper hose. https://www.ebay.com/itm/131638888119 The correct GMC radiator sets further forward with it's mounting brackets Than a Chevy radiator does.
