85 K5 wiper switch bad?

Currently my wipers run on a toggle switch installed from the previous owner. i am trying to sort it out currently.

he has a power coming from the fuse block to the motor with the toggle in between.

i got the correct plug and such and replaced the cut wires with the stock wiring and plug to the wiper motor and washer.

got everything what it looks to be back to stock but wipers still don't work and i assume this is why the previous owner installed the toggle switch.

i checked the power at the motor and 3 plug wire all has power the 2 wire has power to the white and black has power when turn the washer fluid on.

My thought is the wiper switch has gone bad.

Any good way to test the switch?

i will also note my turn signals don't work. when i turn the hazards on it looks like they go dim to on and not on to bright like they should.

i am able to turn on my brights using the blinker/wiper switch.

i am hoping these 2 are related.

Thanks for any help.
