1968 Paint code 503 interior colors
What were the factory interior colors for a 1968 c10 Custom with paint code 503? I recently found my dads truck at a car show and bought it. It is the correct exterior color but I cant remember the interior color. He sold it about 40 years ago. Thanks for any help!

Re: 1968 Paint code 503 interior colors
The GM-recommended interior trim color choices for a 503 green paint truck were Green, Fawn, or Black - but any color could be ordered.

Re: 1968 Paint code 503 interior colors
Thank you so much for your help! The door panels are fawn, the arm rests and seat are turquoise so I guess they are factory correct and appear to be original. The dash pad is dark green and looks fairly new so I'm not sure if that is the correct color. If you know, please let me know. Thanks again for your help!

A mixture of fawn and green vinyl trim parts isn't original. Do you have a picture of the SPID (from the glovebox) or the build sheet perhaps?

I don't have the built sheet, wish I did. Would the entire interior have been one color either fawn or turquoise? Dash pad, seats, door panel and arm rests. Best I can remember the interior was light color not dark Thanks for your help!

Re: 1968 Paint code 503 interior colors
My '67 in 503 light green has a turquoise poly interior paint with green dash pad and turquoise seat, so I went with ACC 508 turquoise carpet from Stock Interiors, and had the seat recovered by a local upholstery shop in a color close to the original seat. You can see the color difference on the drivers door, which is a donor '69 door with 503 green inside and out, and the original '67 inner panel in turquoise poly.

You bet! I think the lighting was dark on that pic. Here's a pic of just the inner door panel in natural light. I also checked the SPID - it has 4611AA Green Vinyl Trim listed.
