Re: Brothers is now Holley

I heard at the last truck show That Holley bought Southern Kentucky Classics also.
They are going to keep the Employee's that have been there for years.
I was happy to hear that.

Yeah, and I don't think it helped anything at all. They made such a mess of my last order that I had to call 4 times. The first three, I was nice. My 4th call made me lose my cool. Whether or not they made it right still remains to be seen. Hopefully it was just stuff getting botched in the transition and they will get their act together again.

I saw that. I never bought much from Brothers because the shipping was higher then the other places. I just did a test on bedroom and one piece glass kit. It said free shipping! I guess I will be using them now.

Mind sharing info on one piece glass kit? All I see they make is for 55-59 and 67-72.

Re: Brothers is now Holley

I saw the change and figured that's what happened. I'm suprised they didnt post a video on YouTube about it or maybe that's it for the YouTube how-to vids. I think the same fate is in store for LMC. Years ago a friend of mine ordered a ton of stuff from LMC and they were always super fast but now it's sad. I just got a small package that I ordered more than two weeks ago. To add to this I got a recent LMC catalog with my truck and there was a write up in the front from the president saying times are really tough right now and the multiple buyout offers are getting harder to turn down.

Re: Brothers is now Holley

I do understand the problems associated with the supply chain crisis, and cannot fault vendors for being out of stock on things. The real problems arise when loyal customers are taken for granted. Simply overlooking to send out orders, sending the same order multiple times, or failing to make contact with customers regarding the status of an order is a whole 'nother thing. It's problem like these that drive customers to seek out competitors because they perceive a lack of competency in the sales team handling their order. It only takes a moment to send a quick email or better yet pick up the phone and simply touch bases. Waiting for a customer to call you and then trying to blame them for your company's shortcomings will only infuriate them.

Been trying to get a Brothers catalog for couple months, my old on is way old…now I understand why it never came…odd, several years back Holley was in bad shape, now buying all these companies…from my personal experience, it has not been for the better for the consumer, the customer service and product quality is💩💩💩💩💩💩

I heard all the bad comments about shipping before. When I was working in California I went by the store in Corona and bought some stuff. But never through the mail.

Different owner same over priced items. Short Bed Side is $949. What a rip. You can get the same one here for $596. https://restorationpartssource.com/s...Bed_Panels.htm The nice thing about this is I don't have to pay for shipping as I can just go and pick it up.

$596 is a great price I'll admit. I wonder how bad shipping is?

Hoods are $921.70. I wonder if they'd arrive unscathed?

Re: Brothers is now Holley

I had a similar experience with Brothers. I made my order last June. No updates. They gladly took my money though. I just got an email yesterday saying that they needed some shipping details by the end of the week or my order was getting cancelled.

Really? I waited on these parts for a YEAR...and they wanted to cancel my order that quick? The guy I was dealing with was very rude.

By far the worst customer service I have ever received from any of these aftermarket companies. They are usually so friendly and willing to help, but not this guy. He made it clear that my order was the last one to ship and he didn't care how I felt about it.

Re: Brothers is now Holley

So where is everyone getting parts these days? I always thought LMC had a good catalogue, but got tired of the horrible customer service. I honestly don’t think the person answering the phone knew that they were selling. Was refreshing when I started buying from Brothers and could actually get an adult on the line that knew something about the parts they were selling. Well, I guess those days are over. Need some parts and wondering who deserves my money, any advice?
Thanks,
Tom

Re: Brothers is now Holley

I haven't ordered from them yet but I picked up a free catalog from TruckandCarShop.com and they have decent prices, I know that's only part of the buying experience but any bit helps with today's prices.
