Drop Spindle Brake Bracket Bolts Hitting Brake Rotor...

Installing my 2.5" drop spindles for 1.25" rotors and almost had it all buttoned back up. Went to install my brake rotor and the bolts are resting on my rotor.

Has anyone else ran into this? I thought maybe the area holding the rotor in place was slightly off but I'm thinking the holes for the bracket are a bit too far in. Standard rotors, nothing aftermarket.

Reached out to the shop that made fabricated them and they are checking their brake rotor dimensions they used for this new batch of brackets to confirm. Was curious if anyone else has ran into this. Maybe I have something off?

Right now I'm standing by with the front end disassembled half in the garage.

I attached pictures as I'm hoping its something I did wrong vs a bad part that I will need to stand by to replace.

(Yes. I greased up everything as it should be before installing the rotor. That picture was right before)

Re-test w/a caliper in place & see if it's still an issue.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

I noticed the issue when I was trying to get the caliper on. Tried multiple times before realizing that it wasn't lining up with the mounting holes because the pin hitting the rotor wouldn't let it go in straight. Took it all off to confirm with the pictures attached

If push comes to shove you could have the OD of the rotor machined down about .100 or so. Unless they sent you the wrong spindles
