I just purchased this, not realizing it won't fit a leaf spring pickup ('66 GMC). It comes with the sending unit and straps. I'd sell for $225 obo or would swap with someone who has a gas tank that fits between the rails.

I really wanted this to work as I don't want the filler neck in the bed floor.

I'm in SW MO.

that sending unit will not work with our old truck original gas gage as I understand it. Correct? Im thinking of going with one of these

I believe that is correct. My '66 GMC's gas gauge missing so I'm not too worried about the ohms.
