Stock valve covers
Does anyone know or have pics of stock valve covers for a 71 V-8 307 CID? I have a pair but they have 2 small brackets on each cover that looks like it holds plug wires or emission controls on a 73 and up. I'm also trying to find some if anyone has any close to East Texas.

Oh yea, I forgot, I'll give you my chrome Edelbrock covers in exchange! They were on the truck when I bought it from the original owner 5 years ago.

Hey I recognize your call name. Let me ask, are the tabs original for the 1971
Hey, I recognize your user name. Let me ask you first, are the tabs original on the 1971? Does anyone have pics of Original??? Also 1972C10, I think that the 305 has a shorter stroke than the 350 crank, put one in a 305 and you make 327 CID!

Those valve covers you have are not original.
The ones you have were 74+ Ours have no brackets. Post "WTB Original Valve Covers" On the parts board, and I bet several people will respond, and sell you valve covers for around $30 +/- Darren

I live in Washougal (Just east of Vancouver) in the south west corner.
I was born in Richland. But thats on the other side of the state (The colder side). Hey, send a PM to Brian Ringer here on the board. He was going to sell me a set of original valve covers for $25 I found a set here closer to home. So give him a holler if you want a set. Darren
