Wiper Switch Question

My 67 was missing the wiper switch and the knob when I bought my truck. The wiper motor still there.
Anyway, is there a wiring harness that plugs into the back of the wiper switch? I can't seem to find one. Thanks.

Re: Wiper Switch Question

Do they not make a wiring harness you can buy for the wiper motor/wiper switch on a 67-72 C10?
I don't think I'll have a problem getting the wipers working, but would rather have a clean look using a harness.

That wiring all wraps around behind the fuse panel as pointed out by pjmoreland.

If you have any remnants of an original harness, you could rebuild it using the schematics on this site. Unfortunately purchasing the entire harness (or an aftermarket harness) would be the only other options.

If it's an aftermarket harness, anyone could have done anything with those wires.

Re: Wiper Switch Question

The wiper wiring is part of the under-dash harness, which includes the fuse panel. The under-dash harness is reproduced, and costs around $400.

Re: Wiper Switch Question

On parts of my wiring harness that I needed to rebuild due to rats and PO chewing on the wiring, I soldered in new lengths of wire and used heat shrink tubing to seal the solder joints, and wrapped the wiring into bundles just like the original with non-adhesive black vinyl tape obtained off of Amazon.com. For some of the connectors that were not found from catalog vendors such as Classic Industries and LMC, and asked if anybody had their old wiring harness around the shop that they could cut some plugs out of and mail it to me, and that worked for me. I needed the premium membership here on the forum to do that as a want-to-buy post.
