1969 K10 Leaf Springs

I was wondering if anyone has used this leaf spring kit from Rough Country? Wasn't really looking for a 4" suspension lift but, seems like a good price. Pros/Cons, good/bad/ugly? Click or copy and paste the linky below.

https://www.roughcountry.com/gm-susp...kup-4wd-741665

Or recommendations for used stock spring replacements, in need of one front and one rear at a reasonable price.

Any input is appreciated
Thanks, Bruce

I used a Rough Country lift one time. I've installed a lot of lifts. They ride rough.

Re: 1969 K10 Leaf Springs

You might try a 2 1/2 inch lift. that is what I used on my 72 K1500 a 2 1/2 set of front springs and a set of 4" rear springs will have the truck ride level and allow you to run 33-12.50-15's on factory 8" rally wheels or any other 8" wheel with the proper back spacing. It's no Cadillac but the ride won't kill you, a good set set of shock absorbers will help alot

Re: 1969 K10 Leaf Springs

I just went from a 4" BDS lift to a 2" Tuff Country EZ Ride kit
the difference is like day and night...
The Rough Country stuff has a reputation of "rough" ride
Tuff Country EZ Ride and Skyjacker Softride are two of the best "box" kits..

Re: 1969 K10 Leaf Springs

Thanks for the info boys. I was finally able to source four stock springs from a local NAPA store. Hope to receive those next week.
