Hubcaps
Did they make FULL hubcaps for 67-68 4x4's?
If they did, were they only for 1/2t or 3/4t too?

I've never seen full wheel covers for a 3/4 ton any year between 67-72, 4x4 or 2wd.
I've never seen a 67/68 vintage 4x4 hubcap (the kind with the hub cutout) of any kind (full wheel or dog dish). I'd like to see some also, either for real or even in a print ad or brochure. I'm under the impression that 67/68 4x4's did not come with hubcaps of any kind, but I'd like to be proven wrong.

I'm with CPNE (Jeff) on this. I've never seen any hub caps at all on any original 67-68 4X4 models. I have a 68 4X4 brochure. Every truck is pictured with plain painted (black) steel wheels. Nothing more.

I have a hub cap.. the full 15 inch for a 1/2 ton you regularly see... but this one has an additional ring of 1 inch that goes around the circumference and make it fit a 16 inch rim...only one I have come across. Cant post a pic now due to board problem or I would.

Rod, I have had 2 full wheel hubcaps that had the extra ring around the 15 inch hubcap to make it fit a 16. I have only ever found 2 of them. I got them in a junkyard off a 3/4 ton 71 or 72 gmc. don't think they made any for a 67-68

Here's the cover of the 68 4x4 brochure:
http://www.ccountry.net/~tmobrien/tr...green68pup.jpg Does this help? I may have a data book or accessories book around that may show the hubcaps. |

...and somehow I got three of those 15" caps that are set into the rings to fit 16" wheels. I am sure that was a GM package.
