WTB - Clip for Speedometer Cable

I'm looking for one of these clips that mounts on the firewall. Borrowed the photo from chewychevy67.

Patrick, have a pretty well picked over '70 3/4 ton carcass left but when it quits raining will check and see if I have such. If it's still there, consider it yours.

Patrick, finally quite raining here and got a chance to check the parts truck. Sorry to say no clip to be had at the firewall and found nothing on the frame either. Not what you wanted to read I'm sure, sorry could not be of more help.

Re: WTB - Clip for Speedometer Cable

Excellent! I haven't ever removed one before. I'm thinking maybe a shot of WD-40 and maybe a pair of needle nose pliers to squeeze gently on the back of it while pulling it out of the hole. Or maybe a large prybar could be used to push it out of the hole from the back.

Re: WTB - Clip for Speedometer Cable

Success! Got the clip out with working it back and forth side to side with a straight screw driver and prying a little each time. Didn't find the one on the frame section, will get this one in the mail headed your way Monday.

Not a thing Patrick. Little enough repayment for all the help you've been for me in the past. Say the word and I can run it thru my balst cabinet, it's a bit rusty but is solid.
