Can I add a headliner to my 68C10?

I looked at the threads but my 68 did not come with a headliner or did not have one when I got it. I see them advertised for a 68 c10 but want to be sure I will be putting the screws in the correct places —or do they just spray glue in? Also is there a trim that surrounds it or is the headliner finished around the edges as it comes. Thx for helping out.
Also product recommendations are welcomed.

I got my replacement from National Parts Depot in Ventura, CA, since I live about 30 miles from there. There is chrome plastic trim that holds it up. Not sure just glue would hold it up. Maybe someone did it that way? I don't remember what the edge looked like. I will say that the cab is quieter with it in.

Oh, I saw that, just saying it was easy for me. There's a National Parts Depot in Ocala, btw. You could visit the Don Garlits drag racing museum and have ribs for lunch nearby.

Different from factory headliner, I replaced mine with Dashtop H207 ...4 speakers and a place for radio or cb..About $350 now... Also repainted body color.

Thx Steve. Yep I’ve been to NPD in Ocala a bunch of times, we had a house in Ocala in Golden hills off 27 for a while. Beautiful country. Also I agree Don’s set up is awesome, I’ve hit it a couple times. Lots of cars rolling Ocala, I love that place.
Look me up if you ever head down here.

Thx notsolo! I’ll look into that option, probably gonna keep it simple though but I like looking at options.

When I was working in Florida, about '01, a bunch of us went to Garlits' place. One of the guys was an old school drag racer and was able to give us a lot of information that wasn't on those placards. Like having our own docent. Had a great time. I'm in California, but if I ever go to Florida again, I will look you up.

Re: Can I add a headliner to my 68C10?

I put one in my 68, without any trim at all. I used an industrial grade velcro. You can buy it in a roll, I think it's 2" wide. It fits perfectly in the lower indentations in the roof of the cab. Of course pressure sensitive adhesive. .. stick one side to the roof and get the pieces all in place like you want them. Test fit.. etc.. then pull rhe backing and press your headliner up.

The adhesive on the velcro is a one-shot deal. Once it's up, it's up.. definitely not going to just fall out. It stayed up very nicely in my truck and looks really clean without the trim surround. No drilling.. check it out. It works. I'll see if I can find a picture of it.

That went up nice! I had the trim holes and screw holes already since I have a CST. Otherwise, I could have saved some bucks.

That looks great, I think I like it better than with the trim. Where did you get the velcro?

It's the gold 68 in my signature. Frame off project and at the time I just hadn't put the rear view mirror back on yet. I used a Billet Specialties one I had from another project.
Good eye though!

Thx, the headliner looks great. Copy on the rear view. Headliner is my next move.
