Completely off topic - bear with me. Best BBQ in Florida

Morning/evening all!

One of my many offspring is in Florida for 3 weeks, week at Disney, week in Boca Raton with family and then a week in the Keys.

It is his birthday whilst away and I would love to send him to a really good BBQ joint.

Any recommendations and apologise for the massive off topic.

Please forgive me and I will post an update on Woody....

P.

It was many years ago, but the Longhorn's on Merritt Island, FL had pork spare ribs that just melted off the bone. Unbelievably tender. If they're into drag cars, tell them to go to the Don Garlits Drag Racing Museum in Ocala, FL. There's a BBQ place near there, which I recall was also pretty good.

Thanks for the reply Steevee.

Have passed on the information to Noah and will report back.

If anybody has anything else to add as a recommendation please don't be shy!

Sadly they are not in my area or I could hook them up. Have them see if either Mission BBQ or BubbaQ's are in thier area. While not the best they are always good eating. Here in the Tampa area my favorite BBQ spot just closed and I'm still not ok with it. lol
