Starter
I have Small Block Chevy and I need to find a Gear Reduction (Mini) type starter (preferably) from junkyard. Can anyone tell me what late model car or truck would have a starter that will work. 153 tooth. Thanks

Re: Starter
88-91 Corvette has mini starters and 153 tooth with the starter bolts inline. Those were TPI (Tuned Port Injection).
Corvettes with the LT1 in the 90s also had mini starters. I think base on what I found online, 95-96 Caprices and Impalas with the LT1 had mini starters and 95-97 Camaros and Firebirds with the LT1 had mini starters. |

Re: Starter
I have had several 9c1 Caprices with the LT1, and they all had the light, small mini starter.
