bowtie overdrives

if you all remember, I broke the output shaft on my 700r4.. it was still under warranty (in fact it was within a few hundred miles of installing the trans).. I took it up there and they unloaded it, put it in their tranny vice and fixed it on the spot, no questions asked... within 45 minutes I was on my way with my level 2 as good as new.. I will probably install it this weekend.. This place rocks and if I ever need a 700/200/4l80e for any reason I will without hesitation get it from bowtie overdrives.. Im not big on the idea of shipping a trans via freight so I know thats sort of a turn-off for some of you, but if you can deal with it, bowtie overdrives is the place to go. The part that broke was an advance adapters output shaft. they are dealing with the warranty and all that, too... I give em an A+, they are highly recommended in my book now. Just thought Id share....

my '77 should be on the road this weekend .. God I miss driving her

I've heard really good things about them. Several guys on the Chevy Talk board use and love them. I will definately consider them if/when the time comes. Good to hear you've had good luck with them.....

I have one of their trans as well...haven't had a chance to use it yet but their CS is the best! Did you hear that the owner Steve died Christmas day morning?
