I wish I had taken pictures while I was doing it. I bent a piece of light metal to catch the lip of the cup holder and bolted it to the heater controls. I also put a screw thru the cup holder in to the piece of metal. Then I reshaped the bracket at the rear of the stock cup holder to wrap around the heater box and put a screw in there. I'm sure you can improve on my method, but you'll like the holder when it's done. I have to have some plastic pieces cut to finish the sides. Scott

so basically you took a thin piece of sheet metal and left a lip sticking out towards the seat and bolted it to the heater control screws . then you bent the rear bracket to mount to the heater box . Then you took a screw and ran it through the holder and into the sheet metal lip.

I dont know . sound like you have the right idea . I migt make me a bracket for the rear but up front sounds good. what I might do is make where i can pull a little tention from the rear so i wont have to put a screw up front.

I've just got a cheap plastic one that clips over the door top, works for me!
