The fuse holder which connects to the junction block near the battery is the one connected to the plain black wire. The fuse holder connected to the black wire with a white tracer goes to a junction (splice connection) in the wiring harness near the front drivers side of the engine compartment. One wire in the splice goes to the alternator. Another goes to the bulkhead connector on the firewall and provides power inside the cab. The other wire in the spice goes across and above the radiator to the junction near the battery where the other fuse holder connects. Both the black and black/white wires route through the engine harness to the bulkhead connector ad into the cab to the PC board and the ammeter.
Hope this helps get the ammeter back working.
