I went with halogen bulbs that I can replace without replacing the whole assembly. It's clear glass which looks better than the old style. I didn't want the halos or LED/HID.

I put the Hellas in my Blazer for the same reasons. Unless someone knows what they're looking at, they look original.

Yup. I Like to keep somewhat of the original look. I wanna change the the front end back to a more original look. The grill in the picture was put on from the previous owner. It's nice and all but just doesn't say '72 to me.

I prefer my OE look of the Retrobrite LED's by Holley - high quality light distribution and as bright as a modern car.

Those look good can clean. I saw those, but I never liked the lines all over the lens. Always liked the clear look.
I had to use an aftermarket headlight wiring harness for the new headlights to be brighter.

I put those in my truck as well. Im really happy with them and they were truly plug and play.

I certainly hope they last a long time. a replacement filament bulb is nearly the price of the entire bulb and casing/housing. I went with the classic white so even the color looks stock - which also is more expensive to replace the bulb over the bright white.

yeah I hear ya on that. I rarely drive my truck at night so hopefully I get a long life. I did the classic white as well for that original look.

I like all the headlight pics posted above including post #1.

I changed my headlights out for these Sylvania lights picked up at the local auto parts store, they seem fine and I’m happy with them. I don’t drive it much at night but when I do they work just fine.

Looks nice - I think it depends on the truck. I'm still using the original Guide Power Beams. Everything else is restored to new but the headlights, which show pitting with the lamps on, and I don't care. It's beyond me how they've lasted so long.

whatever light you do use, installing a headlight relay harness will make them, and the rest of your lights, brighter. It takes the load off the headlight switch.

I bought one from LMC for the C10 and another from Speedway for my 67 Camaro

Its a plug & play install, other than drilling 2 holes to mount relays, with no cutting of original wires. The relays want to mount somewhere near battery given the length of the premade wires.
