Tie Rods
Hey guys I'm new here to the 60-66 board. I just got a 65 that appears to have a 63/64 frame (based on having a 64 rear end). It needs new inner/outer tie rods and I was wondering if there was a difference between to 63/64 and the 65/66?

Re: Tie Rods
Not sure about the 63, but 64 through 66 should all be the same.

Re: Tie Rods
Thanks. When I go to order some a bunch of sites have them listed for 63/64 or 65/66.

Re: Tie Rods
I own a 63 and a 65 with all original frames. The 1965 and 1963 center links are the same. I realized that the 1965 inner and outer tie rods and adjustment sleeves will interchange AS A SET. So I replaced the 1963 inner and outer tie rods and sleeves with 1965 parts. You just need to do it as a set and NOT mix parts/years.
