OEM parts question
I upgraded my 67 C10 front suspension and have the original upper and lower A-arms from the front end. Are these worth cleaning up and keeping?
They are in great shape without rust or damage, but I’m not hanging on to the stuff if it’s not worth anything. Thanks! |

My current 80 Camaro project had 28K original miles when I bought 2 years ago. Zero rust.
I offered the a-arms up free plus shipping. Got no takers. Just too expensive to ship. Kind of a bummer since the ball joints and bushings were like new. I went with tubular a-arms. |

I bought a used stock lower control arm for my truck because I had a bent one so its not unheard of to sell them.

You might be able to sell them at a swap meet, or try Facebook Marketplace. Worst case, just give them away. I did that with a couple pairs of stock spindles over the years, along with some GM metric calipers. At least someone put them to good use.

I would never throw any original part away unless it was junk. There is always someone looking for original parts.

If I had a damaged A-arm I would be looking for an original replacement. There have been people having problems with aftermarket stuff as in this other thread.
