Sbc 283, 1965

This is the original 195hp 2bbl 283 extracted from my 65 Impala. I'll never re-install it, so looking to move it to a new home. Engine ran great when pulled in 2017, still rotates freely. Engine had an aluminum intake and a Holley when I got the car, but it will be sold with the original 2-bbl intake and carb, as depicted. Asking $300 with dollies as shown, $250 without. All casting numbers and date codes would be correct for a 65 C10, the only difference being this carb has a heat-stove choke, not a manual choke as a C10 would have had. PM me or email at j260miken@gmail.com

EDIT: I forgot about forum rules - please respond in thread, thank you.

I'll be headed to Anderson this weekend, so could help with a delivery if needed.

I appreciate the offer but we already had met by then.

If yall are ever around Anderson let me know and we'll meet for lunch or something, or hang out at the shop.

These day's I'm up in Anderson a good bit, frequently nearby the civic center. I'll shoot you a PM next time I'm heading up that way!
