QA1 front crossmember issues.

Hi so I bought some CPP 73 and up modular drop spindles with their standard brake kit p/n 7387SWBK-5 for my 67 c10. It has the QA1 front cross member. The suspension is unloaded on jack stands, there is no engine or trans mounted yet, and the coils are all the way down so no preload on anything, but the limiter cables are installed. The issue I'm having is with my US Mag ramblers 18x9.5, 5.25 bs. There is a spacer for the bump steer for the tie rod end and it scratches the inside of the wheel. Yeah I know I could take it out but it says in the directions it should be compatible with 18" wheels. I also have an issue where my tie rods are adjusted all the way in but my toe is out yet. I called QA1 and they said my toe out could be caused by the springs being unloaded and no wight on the suspension which I could see, but that shouldn't effect the wheel rubbing against the tie rod end with the bump steer spacer installed. I asked them about it and they said it could be a lot of different things such as what type of brake hub and rotor for the spacing of it as well as the backspacing of the wheels. I know this is kinda specific but I was wondering if anyone went down the same route or similar.
