New OEM Barn Door and Glove Box Door Matched lock Set

This is a new OEM (Made in USA) 1967-1972 Suburban and Panel Truck barn door lock cylinder and glove box door lock. Both locks use the same key…. $32.50 (+ $5.00 shipping) Set comes with two GM logo keys, two aftermarket keys, a new OEM GM rubber door lock gasket and a new lock pawl clip. . You will have to use your existing lock pawl (actuator) for the barn door & mounting cup for the GB lock.

Was that a factory thing for the read door and the glovebox to have a matching set and the front doors and ignition to match? Had no clue if so...

No, The ignition and all of the doors matched. On the glove box lock I think it depended on whether it was ordered with one when new or the dealer installed it. Most dealers had the stuff to key them the same as the other locks but they probably charged extra for it and some of the owners didn't want to pay for that service. I had the new locks so I just keyed them the same. It comes with the box for the new rear door lock but I forgot to include a picture of it before. Strattec bought out Briggs & Stratton, who was the original supplier of locks and keys for GM.
