56” rear spring swap on my 70GMC
Looking to swap to an all spring lift in my 70 GMC.. have Skyjacker CR26S 6” lift rear springs that are 56” not the 52 the truck came with.. do I need to replace the rear hanger ?.. if anyone has done so your input would be appreciated

I am going to move this to the '67 -'72 truck board. I think you will get more replies on it there....

Edit- just want to make sure the new springs are specified for a 56" long spring application. If you are just measuring them, the 6" lift pack for a 52" application will be longer than your stock 52" springs. 4" longer would be a lot, but wanted to ask. Edit again- looked up your springs as should have done previously. Says "Designed to fit models with 56 in. leaf springs." So my original recommendation stands.
