Project update, Axles installed

Dana 60 front installed.

14 bolt with disk brakes installed.

Front view.

I'm mounting the old wheels and tires right now so I can move it around a little easier.

Thanks buddy, I got the rear set at the following;
http://members.aol.com/blackbirdstrucks/index7.html
I don't remember how much off the top of my head, I'll have to check my receipts at home.
I will say this that the quality of parts is top notch, and the people are even better.

Hey landon4421, at least yours isn’t a wreck like mine. It's a little embarrassing. My plan this weekend is to reorganize, and clean!

Yukon Jack, I know exactly what you mean, when I got the axles done I stood there like a kid in a candy store just staring at them with this stupid smile on my face. It's been a slow two years, and a lot of saving my money for me just to get this fare. It feels good!
By the way how is the 454 going? Had a chance to turn the beast over yet?

Unfortunately haven't fired the 454 yet - I'm almost done doing things to the firewall, then I need to spray the firewall, do some putting back together, fire the engine to know everything works and then take it to the paint shop.

I see I'm not alone.

landon4421, I know exactly what you mean about cleaning 5 TIMES. It never ends, you know it.

Dean, I don't know when I could make it up there to clean for you, mine never ends.

Yukon Jack, what color are you painting her?

I was going to go white but now I'm think a very light metallic silver would be great.

Wow...very nice! You could eat off that thing?

What kind of coating do you have on there? Looks almost textured from the pics....

yellow72custom, thanks, it's called Black Wrinkle powder coating. Here is a better picture.

I see you’re from Willow Springs? I'm originally from Mtn Grove.

Yup, Willow Springs is my home town. Just a stone's throw from Mtn. Grove

This is a small world indeed! There is another member (Purpleslammed69) in Norwood too.

Finally was able to role the chassis out of the shed this weekend so I could clean it out.

Like them tires and wheels?

I powder coated my hitch to match the frame.

I had an old hub cap I think from a dodge that fit right over that Dana 60 perfect. My Chevy ones are to narrow and need to be trimmed.

Update. I have the engine (ZZ454), trans (TB400), and transfer case (NP205) mounted. Thought I would show a sneak peek. Got the headers mounted last night passenger side was some work.
