It did. Somebody either made a bad reply on the post (violating policy) or the mods made the decision either on their own or with complaint(s).

I'd rather the text of the post be replaced with something like this:

This post was removed because... then list the violations or whatever like

o Language of this nature not allowed
o Offensive topic
o Religion/Politics
o other envelope

...rather than just removing said post.

Even with notifications, I can't reliably see the "post that got the thread killed" at all or ever really, certainly not in this case. It's frustrating.

I wonder if it might have been considered something politically charged that might lead to a heated discussion. Maybe they figured it was easier to just delete the whole thread rather than try to remove certain things. Unfortunately especially now we have to be careful on what we post even if their is no mal intent because of how people respond today. We have all experienced this if we are on other social media platforms no doubt. That's why most forums block any and everything involving heated issues. In the end we all want to come together on the same passion of classic trucks and would hate to cause any undue issues for the mods or members in the process.
