saw it today in fairfield, ca. pick-n-pull, it's still a complete truck but it's a real turd. has a 68 front clip on it that's also junk. compared to the truck the frame is pretty good, still has a 4 speed with a 205 and the correct--one year only--205 shifter, the one that angles toward the drivers side. someone put a disc front axle under it and it has power steering and power brakes. i seriously thought about getting it but it was a swamp out there today and it would take a while to dismantle it by myself with only hand tools--no torches or air compressors allowed.
if someone local is looking to convert a long 4x4 to a short 4x4, heres your chance. it also has the factory steering box brace.i hope someone will rescue it before it gets crushed-- frames are only a couple hundred bucks if they're bare.
