‘86 K10 manual to auto swap.

I have a ‘86 K10 that I’m gonna go thru soon. The current set up is a 2002 5.3 LSx engine mated to a SM465/NP208. It has 10 bolts with 3.08’s on 33” tires.

The 5.3 has a million miles and the sm465 is using 3/4’s of the clutch and the throw out is starting to sing. So it’s all gonna go.

I have a rebuilt 4.8 (need to re-cam/spring) I’m gonna use and since this is just a mall crawler I’m probably gonna use a TH350 with a stock converter.

It’s been a long time since I have done a 4wd build so I’m gonna confirm/ask:

I’m pretty sure I need a TH350 with a 9” tail shaft?
My current 32 spline NP208 needs to go in favor of a 27 spline NP208?
Should be able to used the current NP208 linkage right?
What coupler do I need for the Tcase/tranny?
Given the current set up what mounts stay and what mounts do I need to replace?
Do the driveshafts need to be cut?
Anything else I’m missing related to the manual to auto swap?
