is it my transmission or diff whining??
My 64 C10 has a 230 I6 with a 3 on the tree.
When driving at speed there is a loud whining noise in the cab that goes away when you let off the accelerator. Right away based on that I would assume its rear end noise but its so loud in the cab it almost has me thinking its possibly the transmission. Is there any trick to telling which? |

What happens if you bring it to the same rpm in neutral?
