1970 GMC 1500 (modern conversion)

Here's an interesting retro conversion! 1994 Chevy 1500 converted to 1970 GMC sold at auction this month in Greensboro, North Carolina $52.5K

Not my style of a build but I think the grill looks really great, not out of place at all. I would drive this if it was a little less over the top inside and in the box. Maybe something a little different with the front "bumper"

Re: 1970 GMC 1500 (modern conversion)

I bet the PO had way more than 52.5K in the build plus the auction costs.
Builds like that are really hit and miss in regards to bringing big money.
IMO the PO would of been money ahead modding a real 70 GMC or a real 1994 1500.
