Spark plug quality
Had anyone had issues with Autolite spark plugs being absolute garbage recently?
I had 2 sets in my truck that barely made it 4000 miles before 4 left the chat in each set. |

Re: Spark plug quality
With First Brands falling apart, they're not likely to get better.
Go NGK.

Re: Spark plug quality
2nd what Shifty One said. Lots of allegations of wrong doing by First Brands C-suite folks. Very possible that to keep the gravy train rolling, substandard(cheaper) ingredients were used in various First Brands factories. Autolite is a First Brands company. Last I read a few weeks ago, the bankruptcy plan for First Brands included shutting down the Autolite division.
Probably best at this point to pick a different supplier. |
